The Dunearn Prefects are selected by teachers on a yearly basis. Shortlisted Prefects have to be interviewed and those successfully selected junior Prefects will have to serve as Probational Prefects for a year.

In Secondary Three, our Prefects will join the Student Leadership Board and they will be known as Student Leaders.

Our Prefects perform a variety of duties, in particular, duties related to maintaing discipline and order in our school.

We are responsible and fun loving! We aim to make Dunearn a better place for all students.

Hello everyone.
This is Dunearn Secondary School Prefects blog and we are one big family. This blog will be used to share our experiences and post announcements. A short introduction of our prefectorial board. Well basically we will be nominated by our teachers during secondary 1 or secondary 2 and the nominated students will go through an interview. If they pass the interview, they will become shortlisted prefects, meaning that they are under some sort of "probation". Once we are a prefect, we perform certain duties like recess duties and ushering duties. Of course being a prefect is not all work and no play. We also have an annual camp and prefect outings where we can relax along with out fellow prefects. Once we advance to secondary 3, the prefects will automatically advance to a student leader.
The golden rule for the tag board. Please do not spam the blog or post offensive messages.
I hope that this blog will bring the prefectorial board closer together and enjoy your stay here:)
